City of Gillette offices will be closed on Monday, February 18th in observance of Presidents Day. The Solid Waste Division will run a double route on Tuesday, February 19th. Monday's trash and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday with Tuesday's trash and recycling. Please have your rollout to the curb by 7: 00 a.m.

City of Gillette Election Information

City Offices scheduled for election in November of 2016 are as follows. All offices are for a four-year term.

            City Council Ward I (1 opening)
            City Council Ward II (1 opening)
            City Council Ward III (1 opening)

Any individual wishing to run for a City Office must apply in person at the City Clerk's Office, located on the first floor of the City Hall building at 201 E 5th St. Municipal Office Applications are available online (below) or at the City Clerk's office. A non-refundable fee of $25 is required. Wards

A candidate for municipal office must be a registered voter and a resident of the municipality and ward which he/she seeks to represent. (W.S. 22-23-301)

Election packets, which includes an application, a ward map, and other information, will be available for pickup on Tuesday, May 1st, at the City Clerk's office.
