The Patrol Division is composed of four Patrol Sergeants, Four Patrol Corporals, 28 Police Officers, and three Community Service Officers.

The Patrol Division provides basic and primary law enforcement services for emergencies and initial calls for service, conducts investigations, and assists in the prosecution of criminal and traffic violation cases.  The Patrol Division provides warrant service, business security, preventative patrol for citizens, policing of community events, and crime prevention education.  Additionally, this division conducts the in-service training program, the Field Training Officer Program, Firearms Program, Traffic Enforcement Program, K-9 Program, and Special Operations Unit.

The Community Service Officers are non-sworn personnel who perform numerous activities, such as V.I.N. inspections, parking enforcement, fingerprinting, and traffic control to allow sworn officers to focus on more critical duties.
