Optional 1% Sales Tax Information Website Launched

The City of Gillette, Campbell County Government and the Town of Wright have relaunched www.InformGillette.com with information about the Optional 1% Sales Tax and how it is used in the community. The website includes data about recent Optional 1% projects and expenditures as well as a list of frequently asked questions.

Since 1976, the Optional 1% Sales Tax has collected one penny on each dollar spent by visitors and those who live and work in Campbell County. The proceeds are distributed among the City of Gillette, Campbell County government and the Town of Wright to fund infrastructure, public safety and community support projects.
